Day 7 to 10 major activities:
 
 





1.      All the documents required for Udhyog Aadhar Number was collected and registration for our SHG “Mauli Mahila Bachat Gat” and Prerna Bachat Gat was done.

2.      New Product development for Papad Manufacturing:  
      Villas Ji Tongle is associated with Papad manufacturing of two types of Papad Moong Dal Papad and Urad Dal Papad. So in order to launch different varieties of Papad we prepared 5 different types of Dough from pulses like Moong, Urad, Chana, and Chavli Dal in different ratios and manufacturing of Papad was done.

We also calculated the cost of all the varieties of Papad which was experimented and identified per kg cost of each variety.

3.      Marketing at Bhusawal: Marketing of our SHG product Sanchi Spices(Prerna Bachat Gat) and Samarth Pickles(Mauli Mahila Bachat Gat) was done by putting stall in front of Saijeevan shop. All different kinds of spices Mirch Powder, Dhaniya Powder and Haldi Powder in different packet size of 50gm,100gm and 250 gm were put on stall along with Samarth Pickles. .

4.     Meeting with Dr A.V. Bokhre

We submitted the proposal of outlet for SHG product and subsidy for food testing as per the suggestion of District Planning Officer.


5.     Meeting with Mr Somvanshi

We met with Mr Somvanshi in the office of Dr Bokhre. We submitted the required documents (MOA, 3 years balance sheet of NIFTEM, letterhead from Gram panchayat) regarding Set-up of Digital Library. 


6.     Meeting with District Planning Officer

We asked for the follow up of the proposal submitted in the previous VAP. We submitted the proposal of subsidy for Food Testing and outlet for SHG products. He gave the reference of Dr Bokhre for the same.


7.     Visited MITCON

We met with Mr Hemant Thombre and discussed the problem faced by the trainees of poultry farming regarding loan. We also discussed about various schemes, subsidies, ISO and ISI.


8.     Collected report of water sample

9.       We collected the report of water sample from the ATR lab. According to the report water in our village is drinkable. We also send the quotation for water ATM to JAYAM foundation.


10.  Program at Renuka Mata Mandir :
A program was arranged at Renuka Mata Mandir where various officers from IWMP(Integrated watershed management program),District Information centre, JAYAM foundation(Nashik), Sarda  were invited . Mr AB Bokhre gave detailed description on various schemes under IWMP and motivated villagers to start their own business.Mr Devkar(Executive member SARDA) also promised all kind of support to villagers from their NGO.Mr Devre(Taluka Krishi Adhikari) explained subsidy on water pond construction in farms.


11.  Coverage by Doordarshan( District Information Centre), ABP Manjha, and IBN :
District information officer (Mr.Dusane) and his team visited manufacturing unit of Samarth pickles under “Mauli mahila bachat gat” and Sakshi spices production unit under “Prerna mahila bachat gat”. Both the manufacturing units were given media coverage by Doordarshan, ABP Manjha, IBN Lokmat and SHG members were interviewed. They also interviewed our mentor Er.Vinkel Arora and few of our students regarding the work done by our group and our experience in village adoption programme.


12.  Submission of documents for fssai registration of AKCN Krishi Vigyan Mandal
All the documents which are required for FSSAI Registration of Banana Chips were made ready for submission. Our entrepreneur Mr. Kiran Kadaskar submitted all the documents at FDA, Jalgaon. Within next 2-3 days his FSSAI registration certificate will be issued.FSSAI registration certificate for Banana chips manufacturing unit of Mr. Vilas Bapurao Patil is delayed because of unforeseen reasons.
  

13.  Nutritional analysis of Banana Chips by AKCN
Sample for nutritional analysis of banana chips were submitted 2 days before at Shree ATR Laboratories, Jalgaon.  Today we received the lab report.


14.  JAYAM Foundation and meeting with Mr. Bhardwaj
Mr Ashwini Kumar Bhardwaj one of the director of JAYAM foundation visited our village to meet us and to discuss about water ATM which we want to install in our village. As per the reports of water testing of village water works it is perfectly drinkable as all parameters are within permissible limits. Mr. Bhardwaj suggested to test the water from primary source such as bore well to have a better analysis of water quality. Mr. Bhardwaj also addressed the gathering at Renuka Mata Temple about importance of safe drinking water.Later on that day he visited the places of Mauli Mahila Bachat Gat, Prerna Mahila Bachat Gat, Shivaji Vachnalaya and papad manufacturing unit of Mr. Vilas Tongle.

15.  Meeting of RSETI trainees with Mr. Hemant Thombre
As per the talk held with Mr. Hemant Thombre yesterday, today three RSETI Trainees Atul Ashok Bhoi, Kiran Laxman Bodre and Raghunath Shankar Jadhav went to MITCON office to meet with Mr. Thombre. Mr. Thombre discussed with them about PMEGP eligibility criteria, documents required and preparation of DPR for concerned project. He instructed them to meet with the local bank manager and to make him talk with Mr. Thombre.


16.  Meeting with Yuvraj Patil (Yuva Shakti Sangathan)
We had meeting to discuss the sustainability of library established by our group.

Day 4-6 major activities:
 
 





1.     Packing of spices and stuck labels on the pouches for all variants so that it could be sold.
2.     Water pond
We provided information regarding water pond scheme to the villagers. It costs around Rs 90000. Out of that Rs 50000 will be paid by government itself and remaining amount is to be paid by the perspective farmer
3.     Collected information regarding barcode
To get barcode vat registration is required. The registration fee for vat registration is Rs 5000 and the security deposit is Rs 25000. After that he has to pay 3% tax for up to sales of 10 lakhs and 5.5% tax for more than 10 lakh sales and also he has to maintain the ledger. In every 3 months he has to file the return. So the paper work will be more. We gave all the information regarding this to Mr Vilas Gayke.

4.     Meeting with Agriculture officer

On day 4 of our visit District Agricultural Officer, Mr Jhambre made a surprise visit to Gram Panchayat. We took the advantage of this opportunity to discuss about the process of issuing soil health card, soil sampling procedure, soil testing, and water pond schemes.


5.     FSSAI licensing for banana chips and AKSHAY PAPAD


6.     FSSAI registration of Banana Chips cluster under MAVIM and Meeting with Miss Chaya Deepak Chavan

Met with Miss Chaya Deepak Chavan from Bharari Community Managed Resource Centre. The main objective is FSSAI registration of Tejaswini banana chips (Gathe village banana cluster).


7.     Meeting with SHGs( Mauli Mahila Bachat Gat & Prerna Mahila Bachat Gat)

We discussed about different types of training modules of RSETI and collected names of interested members for RSETI training like beauty parlour, tailoring etc


8.     Meeting with Mr Atul Ashok Bhoi

Mr Atul Ashok Bhoi is the RSETI trainee. We registered him for RSETI’s training module during our last visit and started his own poultry farm after 6 days of preliminary training in poultry farming.

He shared his own experience in starting a new venture and difficulties involved in scaling up. He has started poultry farming with 400 chicks. One cycle takes around 40 days to complete. A profit of Rs 20000 is generated in each cycle. 


9.     Meeting with AKCN Krishi Vigyan Mandal

They produce banana chips. So they want FSSAI registration for the same. We gave information about the documents required for FSSAI registration. 


10.  Meeting with Yuva Shakti group

We had a brief interaction with the leaders of Yuva Shakti Sangathan Mr. Yuvraj Patil regarding status of trainees whose name were sent to various extension and training agencies in Jalgaon district


11. Collected soil sample for soil testing: We collected soil sample from the farms of interested people who waants to get soil health cards.

12.  Visited banana chips cluster of Gathe Village

13.   Link-up with bharari community manage resource centre:
                There are 350 SHGs which are working under the guidance of Bharari community managed resource centre. Some of SHGs are making the products like nagli papad, black gram papad, spices,etc. so we linked our SHGs with them to increase the marketing chain.
