21/09/2015. Then again we contacted them and finalised the date.i.e.29/09/2015.
They asked us whether we want general or some specific check-up. Then we sent a
mail in which we specified our wanting. In that mail we mentioned opthal
check-up, gastro-intestinal check-up and general check-up.

the lecture by Jyoti Bajirao, B.D.O. office
Jyoti Bajirao is head of the department
of sanitation in the block development office.it is situated at Bhusawal. First
we talked to her in block development office and sent a mail to her requesting
her to give a lecture to the villagers regarding schemes under Nirmal Bharat
Abhiyan and Swachha Bharat Abhiyan.

When the date is finalised for the
lecture by Jyoti Bajirao, head of department of sanitation, B.D.O., We started
announcing in the village without wasting much time.

Abhinav farmer’s club
Abhinav farmer’s club is an organisation
which supports the farmers in terms of procurement, marketing etc. Basically
they do marketing of the fresh produces like fruits and vegetables. Sometimes
they also do marketing of processed products but in less amount. We contacted
them for marketing of some of our products like turmeric pickles, spices and
papad. But we felt that they were not interested for the marketing of processed
products.
5.PMKVY
PMKVY is Pradhan Mantri Krishi Vikas
Yojna. For implementing PMKVY in the village we contacted many persons like
Sachin more, a co-ordinator of an agency responsible for implementing PMKVY,Pramod
chikerur, from Jain Irrigation System Limited(JISL).but we got an reply from
pramod chikerur from JISL regarding implementing PMKVY in the village.
6.Purchased
raw materials for recipes
We purchased raw materials for some of
our products like instant pan, spices. We purchased those food items from the Jalgaon
market.

Met with Yuvashakti group
We met with Yuvashakti group and
conveyed information about Vermicompost.
8.Conducted
food quiz
We had prepared 20 questions on
21/09/2015 in Marathi language for the food quiz. It was for 9th
class students, because up to 8th class students, exams were going
on and 10th class students also had exams. So we have choosed the
class 9th who were free in these days. We conducted the quiz in
first hour and we also checked the quiz answer papers, approximately 100
papers.

Organised science exhibition
We organised a science exhibition, in
which we demonstrated some attracting science experiments. We demonstrated
lemon clock, microphone, projector, secret message, and volcano.
10.Got
NOC for FSSAI registration
For obtaining FSSAI registration non
objection certificate from panchayat is required. We typed the NOC and got it
signed from Gram Panchayat.
11.Gave
presentation on VAP-7 and VAP-8
Actually this time the sarpanch has
changed.so we gave presentation on activities covered during VAP-7 and VAP-8.
They were happy by seeing those presentations and they also promised to
co-ordinate us.
12.Demonstaration
on GMP and GHP
GMP refers to good manufacturing
practices and GHP refers to good hygienic practices. We gave presentation on
GMP and GHP to the SHG. That SHG was preparing mid-day meal preparation. We
also demonstrated on GMP and GHP using head gear, gloves, sanitiser, and hand
wash etc.
13.Preservation food competition
Preserve food competition is the
competition where they will show their ideas or methods of preservation of
cooked foods and the food item was prepared by their own. From those they will
give a sample and we will observe the shelf life of that food item and the
tastes etc. whose product has more shelf life, she will be the winner of the
competition. For this competition we nominated 10 ladies of the village by
vising many houses.

Registration in FSSAI
After getting the NOC in our hand, we
progressed to Jalgaon for FSSAI registration. There we submitted the required
documents in the FDA office. Then we filled the form for registration of
spices. We tried for the payment but due to server down problem the transaction
failed 3 times.

Contacted KVK, Jalgaon
We talked to the co-ordinator of KVK,
Jalgaon, Dr. Baheti and mailed to her for conducting the guest lecture by some
experts of KVK. The topics will be Soil Health Card, Azola Cultivation and
Vermicompost. They finalised the date for the guest lecture i.e. 24/09/2015.

VISITED FDA (FOOD AND
DRUGS ADMINISTRATION) FOR FSSAI REGISTRATION
In order to obtain FSSAI registration no. for Prerna Mahila
Bachat Gat’s spices one team comprising of two members visited FDA office at
Jalgaon.
After filling up FORM-“A” online on Food Licensing and
registration system of FSSAI and uploading all the requisite documents we then
get all the documents verified by FDA officers. After this we took printout of
treasury challan drawn in favour of Assistant Commissioner of food safety,
Jalgaon and submitted it in SBI Jalgaon Branch. Meanwhile affidavit for FSSAI
registration was also obtained from tehsil office. All documents were then
compiled in the form of a file and were submitted at FDA, Jalgaon.

VISITED DRDA (DISTRICT
RURAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY)
The main purpose of visiting DRDA office was to discuss the
problem of SHG’s with DRDA officials. SHG’s had complained that they are not
getting information about various exhibition organised by DRDA for marketing of
shg products. We first discussed the problem with Mr. NARAYAN KALE at DRDA
office who is working there as SHG development officer. He then directed us to
meet with Dr. P C Sirsath (Assistant Project Manager, National Rural Livelihood
Mission). We had a presentation there on work accomplished and achievement so
far at Kurhe-Panache. Later on we discussed our problem with him also and he
instructed Mr. Narayan kale to communicate about new calendar of SHG product
exhibition to all shg’s of Kurhe-Panache. He also instructed all the shg’s to
remain in contact of DRDA office to get all relevant information.

Visited NABARD (NATIONAL BANK FOR AGRICULTURE AND
RURAL DEVELOPMENT)
As proposed by NABARD in our last visit we submitted a
concept note for setting up a DIGITAL RESOURCE CENTER at KURHE PANACHE. This
resource centre will fulfil the need of a modern library at village as well as
it will also facilitates the development and adoption of modern agriculture
technique as well as rural entrepreneurship development in food processing
sector. He gave a very positive response and most probably the will Later on we
also discussed about ACABC where agriculture graduates are provided loans up to
Rs 20 lacs to set up agro services centre like soil testing lab, tissue culture
lab, seed farms etc.

VISITED PMKVY (PRADHAN
MANTRI KAUSHAL VIKAS YOJANA)
Met Mr Promod Chikerur (coordinator of PMKVY, Jalgaon) who
earlier worked at TOI Editorial Section. He told us that so many vacancies of
sanitary officers and he also told us about the NSDC (National Skill
Development corporation) which was established by Finance Ministry in
2006,their aim is to create 50 crore certified qualified skilled man by end of
2022.They have around 844 courses for training in different sectors as per
requirement of society like carpentry, plumbering, solar maintenance etc. It is
a 23 days free training. The training is divided into 7 levels. He told us that
they require around 60 to 100 coordinators in this field. He also tells us
about Jain Irrigation Solar maintenance programme, in this JISL provide free
training on Solar maintenence and could provide the job for the same. He also
told us about Dairy Training.
He also told us about Central Bank of India schemes
for startups. He also told us about different schemes of ASDC (Agriculture
Scheme development Council).
He also let us know about BEE KEEPING business which
requires a small investment of Rs 6000.
He also told us about Skill Development University
which is started by Govt of Maharashatra by just initial investment of Rs 168
crore.
He also informed us about MSSDS ( Maharashtra State
Skill Development Council) programme which is yet to be started and lot of
schemes coming in.
He also told us about LSGD ( Local State Govt
Declaration Programme) which is essential for employment in municipality and
corporation.
He also told us about schemes for graduate students
who want to persue their education in future. For this the student must have
global minded approach and after education he must work for India for atleast 5
years.

VISITED MAVIM
Met Mr. Sanjay Garje ( District MAVIM Coordinator). He
told us that there is a village named Gatte which is around at a distance of
30kms from Bhusawal. There they have 25 processing units of Banana Chips with
production of 500-1000kg per day. He told us about problem faced by them and to
visit there. They want to install packaging machine and automatic banana chips
production machine to meet demand of market. He also told us about problem of
lack of technonoly upgradation in their SHG. His aim was to make cluster of SHG
and join them so that all raw material can be purchased from same place in bulk
quantity which will decrease the production cost.
He also told that they want nitrogen packaging machine
to be installed so that shelf life of product can be increased.
He also tell us that they want to make SHG Product as
a brand so that their profit margins can be increased
We suggested them to do the FSSAI registration of all
SHG products for brand building.
He also told us about their Dal mill unit in Chopra
and suggested to visit there and identify problem and uggest solution for the
same
We also invited him for telling the schemes of MAVIM
in village programme which is to be organised on 29/09/15

VISIT IWMP (INTEGRATED
WATERSHED MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME)
At IWMP we met Mr AV Bhokre( District Agricultural
Officer). He proposed us to put stall for 1 day of all SHG products at IWMP. We
also talk him regarding ABHINAV farmers Club for marketing our SHG product.

farmer named Praveen Nagpure. He was interested in setting-up a business based
on beetle leaf. So we demonstrated instant pan. Total cost of the raw material
required for instant pan is 110.

Meeting with MAVIM (MAHILA ARTHIK VIKAS
MAHAMANDAL)
MAVIM refers
Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal. It is a government organisation which
facilitates the development of Women enterpreneurs and SHGs. They provide
financial support, marketing assistance and training. Registration fee is about
1325 which has to be paid by SHG members. After this they will be eligible to
get all facilities under MAVIM. They provide starter kit. They use softwares
through audit purpose. They give interest of 14%. The nearest office of MAVIM
is situated at Shourdha. They have marketed the products at cities like Mumbai,
Delhi, Nagpur, Kolkata and Nashik etc.

Meeting with existing SHG
We met with
existing 7 SHGs and they were very much interested about starting-up new
business. We suggested them to start a bakery unit. Because there is no bakery
unit in the village. They can easily do marketing of their product because
there are no competitors in the market. One
of the representative Neeta Bari told us that they have saved 52,000 and have a
manpower of 12 ladies for working on the project. We assured them on sharing
the Detailed Project Report of the respective start-ups for individual SHG’s
soon. There we suggested the ladies for installing solar charkha as they had visited in the VAP-8. We demonstrated the
corncob cleaner. We also demonstrated the recipe American corn. Some of the
ladies were interested in American corn.

In the SHG
meeting we met an entrepreneur named Mr. Satpal. He has around 28 poultries. He
was very much interested in making it hi-tech. He is our future prosperous
entrepreneur.

Meeting with Vilas Gayake
Talking to Mr. Vilas Gayke is always a matter delight. This
time we discussed the prospects of various prime variants of chikki like almond
chikki, coconut chikki, rose petal chikki, dry fruit mix chikki, cashew chikki
and sugar free chikki for diabetic patients.
Packaging is another front where his chikki brand /
manufacturing unit needs improvement. Order is too large but packaging is too
slow because of manual methods. So our mentor suggested one machine which is
available with Chennai based industry to facilitate automatic packaging and
production of chikki.
To get his product to the shelves of big retail shop bar code
is needed. But obtaining it is a cumbersome and costly process. MSME provides
technical assistance and 75% subsidies to small industries for technology
upgradation. Very soon we will be applying for it.
He also gave order of 50 kg papad from Vilas Tongale but due
to financial reason he was unable to supply the order.
