DAY-4

Activities:

1.Visited FDA Office

The main purpose of visiting FDA office is to check whether the form is accepted or not. There we saw that there were missing of some documents. So the form was rejected. So we have to visit FDA office for the reprocess of the form for the FSSAI registration of spices.

2.Organised lecture by KVK scientists

We organised the guest lecture in which 2 scientists of KVK, Jalgaon were invited. We welcomed Dr. Narendra Deshmukh and Dr. Nandkishore Virve. We distributed pamphlet named “Murghasa Tantra” among the young farmers. We distributed pamphlet named “Organic Manure- Production and uses” given by KVK, Jalgaon. They promised us for providing their publications to the village library.

One of the scientists named Dr. Deshmukh discussed about irrigation system, Azola Technology and Cultivation and also about schemes and subsidies on Azola cultivation.

Scientist named Dr. Nandkishore Hirve discussed about organic farming, soil health card, importance of Azobacter and Rhizobium. He gave the soil testing format.

3.Organised lecture by Mr. Girish Jagtap

Mr.Girish Jagtap is a trainer under PMKVY( Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna). We contacted him on 23/09/2015 and at that time he agreed for the training. He gave training regarding apiculture. Apiculture is the branch of science related to beekeeping. He gave training and he promised for demonstration if required.

4.Organised Preserve Food Competition

Conducted preserve food competition named” mrs Annapurna”. The competition timing was 3:00pm – 5:00pm. We collected the samples on 5:00pm. The total participants are in 10 numbers.

      5.Meeting with Yuvashakti Group

We met with members of Yuvashakti group. We told them about solar charkha. We motivated them for installing solar charkha and for convincing some ladies for solar charkha training. In Jalgaon there is an organisation named Gandhi Research Foundation (GRF) which organise training on solar charkha for the people interested in installing solar charkha.

6.Contacted Mr. Uday Mahajan

Mr. Uday Mahajan is co-ordinator of Gandhi Research Foundation (GRF). He co-ordinate the training programs on different schemes and solar charkha. We contacted him and finalised the training for Neeta Bari and her group on solar charkha.

7.Contacted Mr. Chauhan

We contacted Mr. Chauhan regarding training of the members of the Yuvashakti group regarding goat rearing.

8.Organised milk adulteration test

We organised milk adulteration test in the school. We had collected chemicals for this test from Jalgaon.
