Activities:
1. Printing of label for spices.
Labels
were printed at Bhusawal for the spices and tea masala. For 100 gm variant the
dimensions of label was (2.5 x 3.1) inch
and for 250gm packs dimesnsion of label was (3.1 x 3.5) inches.
2. Preparation and packaging of
spices.
One
of our team was preparing spices from raw materials. Different spices were
prepared including Red Chilli Powder, Dhania Powder , Turmeric Powder etc.
Packaging
of all the spices in 100gm and 250gm packs were done , labels were also pasted
on the packs and all the packs were sealed.
3.. Cost analysis of spices.
Cost
analysis of all the spices were done. The cost 100 gm variant was around Rs 17
and for 250gm was around Rs.40.
4.Contacted Mr Uday Mahajan
We
contacted Mr Uday Mahajan so that a visit can be made along with the 20 youth
from our village and 30 SHG ladies from Nasirabaad village under the reference
of Mrs. Neeta Bari.

Meeting with the Yuva Shakti.
Yuva
Shakti is a group of around 100 youth full of energy and enthusiasm. This group
runs a gym, library and an eco-club. They contacted us to organise an
interactive session with our group. During this interaction our mentor
motivated them to go for starting their own agro based industries. Importance
of food processing and how farmers can enhance their income through food
processing. We also discussed work done by our g

this various skill development training modules under NSDC, PMKVY, MCED and
RSETI was discussed with them. Name of interested candidates for goat rearing,
solar fitting and maintenance, plumbing and ACABC was registered.
